White Pines and Cedar Lester Park, Duluth, MN

I’m excited to be returning to Santa Fe to share EarthPrayers Qi Gong in its present incarnation. Many of you explored it with me in the past, a few of you actually practice now. This present form is utterly different than what I shared back then and arises from the unexpected journey Life has taken me on these past few years.

EarthPrayers Qi Gong is a call to connection and alignment with the more beautiful world that is laboring to be born through our broken open hearts. Arising from the intersection of classic Daoist internal arts, contemporary fascial science and the work of Joanna Macy, EarthPrayers Qi Gong is an embodied mythopoetic prayer in response to our current meta-crisis with all its strange, potent and disturbing signs of change.

This version has shaped me more deeply than any prior practice, it’s become a staple in my life that aligns me with how I can embody a tangible sense of connection landscape in a time of increasing unraveling and uncertainty.

In this one-day class, we will do a deep dive into this form within the context of Joanna Macy’s spiral. The class is open to beginners and those with varying degrees of experience with Qi Gong. If you’re curious or would like more information about the practice, please reach out.

The cost is $185 with a sliding scale for those who find that cost prohibitive. Space is limited so please prepay a nonrefundable $75 deposit at this Venmo link to reserve your space. If there’s sufficient interest, I hope to get a dedicated group practicing in NM so I can return regularly to teach.
